What is written and discussed is confidential.
Focus your feedback on the writing and less the subject matter.
Please do not offer life advice. (ie. "When that happened to me, this is what I did...")
Refer to the writer as the narrator rather than "you."
Mute yourself when you are not speaking.

Each clinic will focus on a writing tip to improve your writing and a story to be studied. The clinic will inspire you to create better essays and memoirs. We’ll write to a prompt incorporating that tip and (if you want), you can share what you wrote for feedback.
